The rise of crime around America
Post-pandemic, there has been a drastic rise in crime in the Bay Area. Though many students still feel like Fremont is safe, they are worried for small businesses facing the threat of crime and hope poverty and other issues at the root of the problem will be addressed.
All too unwell: The false promises of wellness culture
Wellness culture is many things, but at its core, it’s the toxic belief that our bodies can’t self-regulate and that to be well, we have to constantly chase the next diet, exercise routine, etc. Why is it harmful and what can be done to make it beneficial?
Are 90’s shows coming back or did they ever leave?
It’s important to view 90’s television in the context of the time period and appreciate it without viewing it through a politically correct lens, like many remakes do, in order to truly enjoy it.
