Humans of Washington High School aims to capture a snapshot of the many diverse individuals who make up our school.
Due to the quickly spreading Omicron variant, many teachers are falling sick, resulting in staff shortages that negatively impact the teachers who are filling in as well as students’ learning.
New guidelines should be put into place in order to make second semester senior year more relaxing, such as allowing students to skip classes as long as they maintain a B- or higher and most assignments are complete.
Currently, Washington lunches are too short, preventing new, longer club activities from starting as well as making it difficult for students to go off campus, do homework, and finish their meals.
Chloe Dang, a Washington senior, is an incredibly successful athlete, having played both tennis, track and field, and basketball, all while supporting her teammates and being a leader on and off the court.
