Artist Spotlight: Sandar Lin Myint

Sandar Lin Myint, a sophomore, describes her art style as bubbly, with rounded edges and a simplified look. This style is reflected in her drawings, where most of her characters appear happy. She first became interested in drawing at a very young age and began actively working to improve her art around age seven.

What started as a way to impress herself eventually became a way to express herself. Many of her earlier drawings represent the person she wanted to become. Now, her current artwork reflects parts of her personal life and the things she hopes for in the future.

You can find more of Sandar’s artwork on Instagram at @dont_know_am_bored. Requests and commissions are currently open.
