How students feel after a beloved teacher retires
At the end of the first semester, senior English teacher Mr. Awwad retired. Some disliked his class for the amount of writing he assigned, and considered Awwad to be the hardest out of the ERWC teachers at Washington. Others thought he was the easiest: despite the timed writings, the assignments are only for the day, and not the week.
2024: Year of the Dragon
Lunar New Year is the celebration of erasing the bad and the old and welcoming the new and the good. This year, Lunar New Year falls on February 10 and during this time people practice many different traditions such as participating in the lantern festival and eating lucky foods.

The SAT is going digital. But is it still relevant?
After over 95 years of being administered on paper, the final physical SAT was administered on December 2nd, 2023. It will only be given digitally starting March 2024, and it is a transition bound to be filled with road bumps.
