Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics boycott

Due to the human rights abuses occurring in China, some countries, such as the U.S., have planned to diplomatically boycott the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, raising questions about politics’ involvement in sports and whether boycotting in sports can make a larger impact.
